Roost is the guest house management app by Meeri. This page explains how to delete some or all of your data, and how to get it back if you change your mind. Everything works directly inside the app — you do not need to ask us.

You have 30 days to undo a deletion. After 30 days it is deleted for good and cannot be restored by anyone.

Option 1 — Erase your records, keep your account

Use this for a clean start (for example to clear test entries) without losing your sign-in or your property setup.

  1. Open the Roost app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Data & privacy → Erase operational data.
  3. Confirm the warning.

This removes:

  • All bookings and their payment records
  • All guest records
  • All expenses
  • All inventory items

Every room is set back to available.

This keeps: your sign-in, your room list, and your property settings and logo.

To undo it: within 30 days, open Settings → Data & privacy and tap Restore my data. Everything comes back as it was.

Option 2 — Delete your account and everything in it

  1. Open the Roost app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Data & privacy → Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

You are signed out at once and your account is held for 30 days. After 30 days your account and your whole property are permanently deleted: rooms, guests, bookings, payments, expenses, inventory and settings.

To undo it: within 30 days, sign in again. Roost shows "Your account is scheduled for deletion" — tap Restore my account and everything is back. If you would rather not wait, the same screen has Delete everything now, which removes it immediately and cannot be undone.

Safety copies

We also keep private safety copies of our database for up to 30 days to recover from a serious failure. They are then destroyed. Nobody — including you — can use them to restore your account, except in a genuine disaster recovery for all users.

Need help?

If you cannot open the app to do this (for example you lost access to your Google account), email supportmeeri@gmail.com from the email address on the account and we will delete it for you.
